two trains of thought now exist

a) lfc bid on caicedo was totally fake with no expectation of success, the blow back being a little unexpected but acceptable to ownership.

net spend is around 50mil as usual.

no more players will arrive

or

b) LFC have the money but are incompetent in failing to secure any first, second or third choice cm option.

only time will tell which is closer to the truth.

James pearce reports today that we will not buy a specials 6 this summer. Endo is it.

this automatically makes all talk of aromatic, doucoure, palhinha total rubbish.

They are apparently after a more flexible midfield player.
 
Read that we'd submitted a £70m for a PL midfielder last night. If guess this would be Doucoure, hope not at that figure.
