No, I don't follow the German league that much. I did ask someone and they said he's the captain of a team that was almost relegated, but one of the main reasons they stayed up. Plays for the Japanese national team. Better at football than any of us. If Klopp wants him then probably good enough for Liverpool as well.

According to Sky Sports, Japan International is travelling to Liverpool for medical. Wataru Endo, experienced DM is the one Liverpool has turned to.
 
He has travelled to Merseyside to complete the terms of a contract with the English club, and undergo a medical, which should take place on Thursday, for a fee which is likely to be around £20m plus add-ons for Stuttgart’s most important player last season.

COMPARE £110M AND £20M £90M SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE,CAN BE GOOD OR BAD BUSINESS !

It might be good business, we’ll have to wait and see but smells a little like Caulker, Arthur, Davies, Kabak, Balotelli, Davies tbh

Started more games than anyone else across bundesliga since 2020 so guy is robust it seems.

He wins the ball, good at tackling, decent in possession and was in top 4 for creating chances in open play last year. Not bad for a DM.

If he was 22 instead of 30 then would sound like a very exciting player. No reason can’t get 2/3 years out of him while other young players develop and the price hopefully leaves room for at least 1 more midfielder
