Not the greatest source, but if we walk away from this with Lavia and having forced Chelsea to pay £35m more for Caceido than they wanted to (and tip them over next season's FFP to boot), I'll be even happier than I was on Thursday night before we ever got involved in this bonkers saga.

Hope that's the end game, but we have @£400m to play with if FSG let us. Any limit under that is self-imposed -perhaps for good reason. But it's a fallacy that our funds are tied up in the Caicedo deal - Chelsea's are: not ours.

Trouble is, if we did spend that in this window we'd be screwed for the next three years because of ffp. However, I quite like the idea of a three year splurge...
