    we.cant use release clauses and special cases to determine much

    of course there are but the market is now significantly over-inflated. Especially for midfielders now. We’re going to have to pay up or shut up I’m afraid - if we want a certain quality, that is.

    Not the greatest source, but if we walk away from this with Lavia and having forced Chelsea to pay £35m more for Caceido than they wanted to (and tip them over next season's FFP to boot), I'll be even happier than I was on Thursday night before we ever got involved in this bonkers saga.
