I am not sure who will go where, but I cant see a world in which Liverpool AND Chelsea dont make at least 1 more signing before the window shuts.

if Chelsea knew of Liverpools bid at 9.30pm last night and the deadline was midnight, why did they not put in a bid for him to trump Liverpool instead of letting the deadline pass?

Cos they wanted to speak to caicedo agent, tel him that he needs to say that doesn’t want to go to lfc so we end up pulling out and chelsea come back with a bid of around 90m
No because either we dont value Moises enough to improve our bid, our we dont have the money and are frantically searching for it.
I think its the latter. Hence why the Tyler Adams transfer has fell through.
If we dont value him enough to improve our bid, we would have just let him go to Liverpool.

Maybe because they knew the player was going to refuse to go to Liverpool so think they can get him at a lower offer.
So why are you now being reported as offering £55m for Lavia? Surely if you’ve pulled out of the Tyler Adams deal to save £20m that would be used to outbid Liverpool, not get Lavia and then Caicedo too?
Much rather we got Lavia now and pressed Real for Tchumeani or Valverde if the Mbappe thing develops. Cant think of anything more humiliating now if he came to us. And this is ****ing humiliating as it is.
