If Caicedo does not want to play for us then why sign him. He will just be a pain like Anelka was at most of his clubs. Any club should only sign players who want to be there. We should look to see who else is available and fits the DM role.

We don’t know he doesn’t. All we know is that his agent wants him to go to Chelsea cos there’s a bigger payday in it for him. Caicedo hasn’t actually say anything

Moises Caicedo going to Chelsea can be a smart move, it can also be a big mistake. Time will tell !.
I agree with what you said earlier about him getting poor advice from his agent. He probably feels stuck in the middle. I doubt very much that he's set on Chelsea 100%, unless he already bought a house in London ftom when Arsenal nearly got him.

Tbh better of keeping house in Sussex and then getting train up for games. Can at least get more than a 2 bed flat for 2m that way

Southampton forum is really quite an amusing place. They're really getting their knickers in a twist over this and foaming at the mouth. I think they care who gets Lavia and Moises than we do. It's quite amusing watching them get all flustered.

They'd wait till later in the window hoping Caicedo has thrown his toys out the pram and snap him up for £80m
They are desperately short of CMs, at last look they had 1 first team CM, a couple of who've spent the last few seasons out on loan or playing off the bench and the rest are youth.
This summer transfer market has been dramatic and exciting, I have never witness anything like this.
I think Chelse will get both, but obviously Klopp doesn't think Lavia is worth £50mill. Now we know we've got money, and the will to spend money I'm not too worried There's always other players. I'm sure Klopp is already eyeing others. Maybe we'll get Andre this summer instead of the January window as suggested by journalists- he'll be a lot less and we'll have funds for defence too.

where as Brighton fans really wants caicedo to go to us over chelsea.
Older than everyone else we've been looking at. I suspect Klopp would only consider him an option at a very discounted rate.
