Do not get me wrong Z totally agree on that but for all of the morality stance chat that has taken place there is a simpler footballers have too much power
contracts mean diddly squat and clubs are virtually (not totally) powerless would be nice to make examples out of some of these things

fabinho looked atrocious for 12months. even if you didn't expect him to go you'd.be thinking who's going to be first choice.
if the answer to all of the above was Jones and bajcetic then they want sacking
the club made hard calls to dismiss the services of ox, keita and milner so those signing we made should be their replacement.
None of those three were expected to leave THIS SUMMER, that's the point. We've had to change our approach because they've ASKED TO LEAVE.
Every club know know we're desperate for at least one more midfielder too, particularly a DM. If rather go short than but the wrong player or be held to ransom.
what’s wrong with Jones and Bajetic being planned as their replacements in 12m, when we thought they’d leave? Nothing imo.
Even if they’d identified people who we may purchase in a years time, who’s to say they’re available now? All that said, we should have been replacing them over the last 2 years - we didn’t and now the worst case is happening.
and they should 200% have a list of targets.

I’m sure that they have irons in the fire, maybe they need more but we can only judge when the window closes really, especially after the unplanned departures.
Klopp has openly said we will make more signings before the first game so we have to wait and see who they are.
Apart from the fact that he's brought us success, I love Klopp because he has those qualities of honesty, integrity and loyalty. No doubt seen by some as outdated, but something I appreciate and wish we saw more of.
The club is permanently scouting so even unexpected departures will have their replacements on a spreadsheet somewhere. The sticking point is always the finances.
