Personally think Diaz is one of the most exciting players we have but he really needsto know when to release the ball particularly the early cross .

in fairness to the little fella he had Jan to May and played a good part in reenergising us and driving us to forest finish to thst season despite having zero English etc.

he got injured and was out so we just need to see where he is at rather than critiquing on old data.

I've no issue with where he was at, that is all fine but let's see where he is at as a player this season.

We definitely missed Diaz more than any other player last season. He's worth 7-8 points on his own I'd roughly estimate, especially with no Mane in the side anymore to play that terrier role.

Id say Jota was missed just as much if not more tbh. He showed when he came back from injury that he has a habit of popping up with important goals
