would you reject all bids coming in as first derisory offers orwould you accept one as a base line?

Rainbow laces man - 20mil? reject and hold out for what? 35/40?
Man with wife who will get a terrible shokc - 40mil, would you hold out for 50 or 60?

That would make some semblance of sanity to try if we are tearing our midfield up to buy another teams Tbf
Not saying I agree with it but understand it as there would be some cohesion you would imagine

I think he knows that’s not going to be a starter next season and this is his last chance of a big contract.

for the sake of our club, we’d be stupid to not do this deal

I personally hope the clubs does say no and keeps going as normal until a blood ransom is paid.

literally the only thing we can do now is extract an eye watering fee per player these hostel takeover types try to paoch.

make no bones about it folks this is exactly like golf. its 20 clubs in Saudi (4 driven by state investment) who aim to do a hostile takeover of the market place.

Newcastle are sitting here as their english arm in the camp (which is a thundering disgrace) and we will see this chipping away now at every club.

well expect everton as they have nobody good enough to bother with
 
Apparently henderson will have to drop some of his 700k wages if they have to pay a fee. Do wonder where got idea they could have him from free from?

we have to be realistic. He’s not a big name, marketable or can offer much on the pitch. He’s 33 and regressing.

I’ve got no idea who the club owners are let alone how they made their money? I assumed you’ve done some research and the owners of that club have some dodgy history? Care to enlighten us

This, He's still got 2 years on his contract.

Either we'd have to pay him off or Henderson would have to get the club to agree a mutual termination. Neither of which would ever happen as we'd be out of pocket or a player down for nothing.

Hendo £20m - But not worth £10m

Fab £40m - Wouldn't get £15m from another Prem club now, tbh

Kell £30m - bloody fine keeper. Chelsea paid £90m for a keeper one-third as good as him, didn't they?

so in a quick summation:

1. Gerrard hired on to Ettifaq FC who want henderson
2. The ownership of all saudi clubs is EXTREMELY murky. The offical ownership is a very unknown person Nawaf A Alosaimi, which suggests its really a shell back to the same government ownership. The family assigned to run it is that of a former president of the country so again linked heavily to the country regime.
3. Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund announced it took ownership of the country's four leading football clubs. Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal. Menaing Ettifaq is second teir in their eyes.
4. fabinho is wanted by Al-Ittihad who are PIF. kante and benzema are there now

Sportwashing is an entire country objective driven by the crown price who has instructed PIF to go buy up various sports like golf, WWE, UFC and now they are actively engaged in a hostile takeover of football.
