Hmm... pieare they claiming a slice as well?
Hmm... pieare they claiming a slice as well?
well i'm very confused of the parameters you are using but can i just point out Pepe at £65m is an Arsenal player .If we look at it this way
Cheslea max line up:
Kepa (70)
Fofana (75) Koulibaly (35) Cucurella (70)
James (0) Fernandez (105) joorginho (55) Chilwell (50)
Havertz (75) Lukaku (105) Mduryk (70)
not i've been kind in putting james in as clearly thier best option there but i've had to pleave out pulisic at 60 odd, wermer at 55, kovacic at 40, sterling at 50 odd, and various others amounting to baout 300mil
theres about £710 mil in the 11 and the bench would easy bring it to a billion.
Aside from that lucky run in the CL you've have to call this self harm of the worst type.
Man Utd max line up
De gea (20)
Wan bisskaa (50) Maguire (85) Martinez (55) Sahw (35)
Casemiro (60) Pogba (90)
Anthony (81) fernandes (60) Sancho (75)
Lukaku (75)
I am leaving the likes of lindeloff, varane, mkhitaryan, matic, fred, van beek, martial, bailly all out here.
This adds up to 686million wasted.
By contrast arsenal:
Ramsdale (25)
White (50) saliba (25) Gabriel (20) zinchenko (30)
Partey (45) xhaka (40)
Saka (0) Odengaard (35) Martinelli (5)
Jesus (50)
this team is (currently) top of the prem. 325mil spend, plus a lot of mistakes over the years but still
Liverpool cannot boast to be very smart either
Alisson (64)
trent (0) Konate (35) VVD (75) Roberston (8)
Ox (40) Fabinho 45) keita (50)
Jost (45) Nunez (64 if you like) Diaz (45)
this is actually more than arsneal have spend at 471mil. Its farily clear our spending on forwards has pushed the old gaurd out and the failure on midfielders is costing us
At least LFC have a few titles. The amount of monet spend by Utd and cheslea chasing city and getting nowehre is absolutely massive isn't it?
Arsenal have managed it briefly though bright young players and half the spend.
Could be a slice of haggis.
By wipe out your worth I meant in terms of not being worth investing in. Your original point was about us not being as attractive as an option to buy out or into wasn't it? I'm just saying that one poor season doesn't make us less attractive for investors. Look at utd and the fighting amongst potential investors there atm.
Could be a slice of haggis.
I've clearly made my choice...
... although, hmm.... cake!
I still prefer him in his old position but it looks like the intention is definitely to move him into midfield - so yes, we need to get a proper RB.I think tonight's match really shows we should be looking to buy a RB asked play Trent in midfield

gigantic wastes of money.
really I'm just looming at the scalding poor return some clubs have gotten out of their massive spending as that spending completely dominates the top British transfers list.
Think the point is you can’t list arsenals best 11, and leave out the big money signing. Then list our team and our ox and Keita in it
Easily his best game from midfield, but it will take more than one good one to convince me that it's worth losing that supply from the wings that has been so successful for a few years.I’m not totally convinced - while great on the ball, it’s the off the ball work and lack of pace that concerns me. That said, I didn’t see last nights game and how he performed.
Well I can and did.
Look I probably did mix the drinks there.
The point was our spend is actually large and we have made mistakes in the big buys, whereas arsneal have basically got most of it right just recently and they are flying as a reuslt.
Yes I just showed what arsenal got to as a team there but have left out a couple of terrible buys over the previous period. all it does is put pepe in for saka really and add 70 mil to thier total.

I'm not happy with the move, but I'm resigned to it because it definitely looks like that's the future. If he suddenly starts providing more assists and creating more chances than he did out wide (tall order) then I might come round.
That's literally what everyone does. you move the ball until an error is made, whether that's a failure to track or a slip or you get an overload.tonight mostly showed we lack penetration up front. leaving trent aside we just shuffled in front of Leeds until they made the errors. that's the same issues we have had for yonks.
the exact.same gaps and issues lead to their goal. sloppiness and no cover.
personally seeing jota get the money off his back was good but we have a lot of work to do to get that cutting edge back in our game.
if you park your rb at 6 and your LB at lcb it's very hard get a good overlap with your wide players. as a result (and Henderson doesn't help either) we got advanced wide and back passed.
one point to make is unlike some games there was actually players in the box but we wouldn't cross.
