Thing is, Klopp built teams before he worked with Edwards and co. Edwards and co hadn’t built teams before he worked with Klopp.
This is the thing though. We don’t know what goes on. If, and it’s a big if, klopp and the technical team aren’t seeing eye to eye on transfers surely it’s best they move on and get someone that can work? Change isn’t always bad.
Would you rather
1. they carry on, not agreeing on things.
2, edwards and Ward move on and klopp stays and try get new team in to work with klopp
3, klopp goes and we keep the technical team and we have to try find s new manager that will work with them?
You’re right - change isn’t always bad. But when so many of the current structure are leaving, all within a short space of time, that’s a worrying sign that things aren’t going well behind the scenes.
Once Edwards left, we all said that this would now be the ultimate test that the system and structure in place is far greater than the individuals. Well, look that whole structure has completely been decimated now.

an old man will die. He cannot change his body. Businesses regularly reinvent themselves so that they do not die…..unlike an old man, they can change and rejuvenate. Strategy decay is a big risk in a massively changing world; I don’t care who you are, if you cannot see that the competitive and financial environment is changing then you are blind. To stick to what was once a successful strategy just because it was once successful would be foolish.
we don’t know the facts but the reality is that EVERY business has to operate in today’s volatile world and as such should adjust what they are doing accordingly - so might be part of the plan, might be rats leaving a sinking ship….perhaps a bit of both…..we just can’t know. So I won’t be bothered until I see the outcome…..
Just my view and how I see and react to these things, we’re all different![]()
So who would you - realistically - like to see replace them? They did what they were good at but never bought in real football expertise into fsg itself, no partner in the company ro drive the growth.
The sooner fsg are gone imo the better. Cos they will make do us into 10th.

I've asked this question more than once on here, and so far no-one has answered.
With respect, that still doesn't answer my question - it's just a list of wants and not wants.Once moores and parry sold up the first time the club was gone from any sort of "lfc" control.
G&h to fsg to ?? Who knows.
More investment by red bird capital? They are more yanks and a bunch of slick couldn't give a damn about us types.... but... they MIGHT, just might think we are their prime asset (toulouse and ac Milan so far, no massive usa team I can see)
However after that we don't know the list.
It's a hell no to Dubai ownership and a "burn Fenay to the ground" if the even think about Saudis
There's nobody in the UK.
Nobody in the US major sports owners who'd prioritise us imo.
Our objectives should be
1. compete, not make do.
2. Push properly to get kop redevelopment. Walton breck Road reroute and transport infrastructure required
3. Secure derelict ground round the stadium and build things to improve community. Hotel would provide jobs.
With respect, that still doesn't answer my question - it's just a list of wants and not wants.
The reason I keep bringing this up is I've seen a number of "good riddance to FSG" quotes, and so far not a single viable alternative.
As far as I can see, a club of our stature can only be bought as a rich man's vanity project or a debt-saddled cash cow.
Which is why I've always been happy to settle for FSG - not perfect by any means, but still better than any alternative that I've yet to see anyone come up with.
It's easy to see problems, solutions are a little harder to come by.

If you want success it will be some Arab conglomerate with more money than God.
Mito is looking for some unknown benefactor that happens to be a billionaire, but has a heart of gold and just happens to want the best for everyone. The reason he can't nane them is because they don't exist.
Either we are bought as an asset and milked or bought as a plaything. It is what it is.
It's also why I watch the local team more more than lfc now. I'm completely bored and pissed off with the lot of it.
Dortmunds recruitment was handled by their director, Michael Zorc.

FSG are good owners … all we needed from them was to pump in a bit more of their own money into the club. They pretty much ticked every other box.
