Well we don't know what villa are offering the kid so anything is possible. He'd be better doing a Bellingham than an Elliott though....

But speaking of which, now that brexit is "done" we can't sign up eu youths any more, so are dortmund blocked from getting more sancho and Bellinghams???
u18 players playing in the UK are supposed to be blocked from moving outside the UK now.
They're under the same rules as players from outside the EU, ie South Americans, African, Asian, all have to be over 18 to move abroad.

There are of course some exceptions, I think French clubs are allowed to sign from certain African countries and I'm not sure how 2nd nationalities effect u18s.

Hmmm interesting situation.

A lot less academy smash and grab at foreign level and a lot more piranha tank activity in England where the youth league will be like a feeding franzy for talent

BREAKING: Barcelona and Bayern have agreed a deal for Robert Lewandowski.

€45m + €5m add ons & a 4 year contract
.

He's 33, almost 34. Barca love wasting money they don't have!!!

Eriksen wore no.21 at Brentford
Martinez wore no.21 at Ajax
De Jong wore no.21 at Barca

Fight...?

Expecting Man Utd fans to claim this somehow means they'll win number 21 <doh>

Apparently barca are allowed 1000 players in their squad and debt a small nation couldn't handle too.
So yesterday someone on another site made a comment about our debt being comparable to Barca, so I looked it up and lets just say that person was a moron.

Ours is roughly £380m which looking at the other top6 clubs and other major clubs in Europe is average to low, Man City for example are about £320m, Man U £580m ish.

Barca and Real both have debts over £1billion (Spurs as well but most of that will probably be Stadium debt).

I just want to point out the number you have there is massively off what was offically published in the last accounts.

£268m debt which included 147mil of bank loans secured to protect against further covid issues.

The net debt is far far lower as we have since returned that bank loan.

The next accounts will be published in October for the next period
