So it's not the contract for me nor wanting to win stuff etc. It's the way he went into games and deliberately stunk the place out in that last season when we needed all hands to the pump. When it suited him he'd turn up and them he'd go missing or worse actually break up attacks.

Compare to the nasty **** suarez who when not banned (50% of time) never did anything but work like a dog.

Emre can worked OK and was always going. His.final back injury was proven afterwards but there was a very strong suspicion he was faking that.

Coutinho would be booed off the park as well for his back paid and bullshit had he gone to city not barca.

Finally wijnaldum. He gets a jog on from me but he worked hard every game at the same level irrespective.

What will mane get... well he worked hard enough last season so he won't be getting a bad reception at anfield I'm sure but he better not expect a nice one if we play bayern

Sterling was a good fee at the time plus he did get the medals he wanted so prob feels justified but his antics on field were discrace

or he was only 20 and so was inconsistent and hit some bad form?

Been holding a 7 year grudge over there

only slightly guity over it too.

As in, he's got a lot of bad abuse from the press and others over gun tattoos and other sorts of things that should be happening that I ignored cos he was a prick. no matter what kind of prick he is he shouldn't have to have that.

on the prick scales Owen is no 1, sterling is prob 3 or 4 only. I'm probably at the point that suarez should be no 2 on the list of pricks but we have owen, diouf, suarez, sterling, coutinho and mcmanaman to choose from.

Liverpool snap up former WSL captain as 2nd summer signing

Liverpool FC Women have confirmed the signing of Gilly Flaherty, their second arrival of the summer.

The experienced defender joins the Reds after four years as captain of West Ham United Women up until her departure in May.

Is one of those two men a woman?

Diouf is clearly number one, no one gets close.

I'd put Sterling above Owen too

Sterling is decent enough when he has no time to think - when he has time, he tends to make poor decisions. Has always been that way but that doesn’t mean that he’s poor. Not by any means and I think that he’s a good signing for Chelsea. As is koulibaly. And don’t forget they get i Gallagher back from Palace who I thought was decent last season - basically, I think they’ll be strong next year.

I remember with us he'd frequently run himself into a corner... Lots of running and dribbling but wouldn't free himself of the ball to pass to another player before he would get himself boxes into a corner.

He was young then, but quite a selfish player. Klopp wouldn't tolerate that.

Meh. There's very few players I harbour a grudge for. Diouf and Owen as you point out... Sterling not so much. He was greedy for more money but didn't set out to sabotage the club. He doesn't continually bash Liverpool verbally like Diouf... And he didn't get three strikes or kiss the United badge like Owen.

I'll forgive one indiscretion.

there was one where he didn't even bother swinging a leg at a cross he could easily has scored off cos it "didn't suit"

So

1. diouf

wen, diouf, suarez, sterling, coutinho and mcmanaman to choose from.

2. coutinho??

3. mcmanaman?

3. Sterling?

5. Owen?

would suarez even make your list? courted arsneal ffs, bit two people racially abused evra (cos he did really) when not suspended he worked like a dog for us though.

Mine would put owen up there. Mcmanaman left on a free as well, deliberately ran contract out. Owen tried it and was flogged for as much as we could get for a 30mil asset (8mil and a janitor)

1. diouf
2. owen
3. mcmanaman.
4. coutinho
5. sterling
6. suarez

others were ****ed out of the club like konbloodychesky (dickhead) so don't really count as it was good riddance to bad rubbish.

What was it Suarez actually said?

"It's because you're black" wasn't it after Evra said "why are you doing ...".

Obviously unacceptable even if joking around, but is that "Racial Abuse?". It was wrong and not something players should use to tease each other, but it wasn't the most malicious thing he could have said.

No doubt, Suarez was in the wrong, that's not the sort of thing you can joke around with casually and he should have been punished, but I wouldn't really categorize it as "Racial Abuse". Inappropriate, yes. "Abuse", that's setting the bar for abuse low. That said we will never know Suarez's tone or intention that day.

I have no issue with Suarez, Mcmanaman or Owen.

Coutinho and Sterling I agree with. Can add Torres and Mascherano to that although I've moved on from that now.

Thing is, we've got (VVD) or had (Lovren) players that have done the same to join us.

he said the same as that lad nelzon pique said about hamilton, just to his face, seemingly 8 times. as in the translation of "little black man"

In todays terms (not 9 years ago) abuse is in the ear of the hearer. It doesn't matter if its a spanish translation or whatever its a derogatory way of looking at the person irrespective.

it doesn't seem to matter what evra said about his sister though.

what we dom know is comolli lost his job over acting as translator for the ref and not letting it go to lawyers so i can only presume at this point the big long 30 page report outlines what the judge and jury/executioners thought of suarez testimony.

the bar for abuse is not so low that people are complaining that its offensive to sing sign on at scousers <laugh> I mean get real. every midland club sings the same tired trope at us every game home or away but cos it happened at some fa cup game its shocking. thats 2022.

woke just means actually realising this **** hurts day in and day out so like lewis hamilton said about pique, we've heard about this stuff long enough for it to sink in so enoughs enough.

Or as my mother would say "have manners or i'll whack you over the head"

torres = vvd really. torres wanted to go and got his move.
Lovern was a total cun to southampton but they hated lallana more cos he was from the area.

And I have no problem with Coutinho, Sterling, Torres, or Mash. They wanted to leave, no biggie. I'd hate if I got trapped in a job I didn't want and people thought I shouldn't be allowed to move on.

Suarez... He put the club in disrespute too many times.

Owen... I forgave him after Madrid. But after Newcastle and Man UTD, flipping the fingers at us twice more all the time professing his love for the club (and then kissing the devil badge)... Nah, he's just a ****.

I'd also add Harry Kewell. Feigning injury in the 2005 CL final because he was embarrassed and then dancing and hopping around when we won. I don't think that's the only time he faked injury either.

Also in 2007, if he had tried to win the ball back instead of diving before Milan's second goal, we might not have lost. That's not the only time he dove either.
