which they ewould not get if he moved to germany... for example.

so thats the only protection you get in england.

a good step might be fifa banning totally all transfers for any u18 between countries?
it is already banned well sort of as there are few exceptions one of which being it is allowed for 16 to 18 year olds between EU countries plus others are things like family moved countries , asylum seekers etc .

Understand what you're getting at when only thinking of the clubs but that wouldn't be fair on the youngster in question. Why should they're options be limited?

Not a terrible idea but imagine this scenario:
Lionel Messi is reborn in Cork and only has the Irish teams to help build his ability in the important formative years.

Poor youngster Lenny O'Messi never develops into a world class talent and the peak of his career instead of the Balon D'Or is when he comes on as a substitute for Accrington Stanley.

Very unfair to Cork as Roy Keane managed it

The illegal growth hormones supposedly pumped itno him by barca though... could be an issue

Eddie Nketiah is next piece of smart Liverpool transfer business as Arsenal exit prepared

look the lad is 22. so if he goes on a free to europe he really is a free but isn't it under 24 = tribunal for a fee?

in this case the waters are muddy as he was at chelsea then moved to arsenal so their "development cost" is a question.

If we go by dominic solanke then you can't really lose on it if he doens't turn into a ravel morrison overnight. He seems sound enough so could be another 20mil asset to flog on to palace or Bournemouth etc.

I sincerely doubt he would join us to sit behind 6 others when he can go elsewhere and play.
