Liverpool are among the clubs 'interested' in AC Milan star Rafael Leao, according to reports in Italy. Elsewhere, rumours claim Sadio Mane has been told to 'wait until the end of the season' for a new contract offer.

It's interesting... Overall Salah has been our biggest star since arriving, but Mane is always there to pick up the slack when Salah has a lull. We normally have one or the other in form at any given time even though they're not always both in form. Salah dips... Mane comes to the rescue.

its 3 weeks. hardly an issue. plus its rumours. theres either a deal or theres not. its that simple. we have jota and diaz so the old lads need to sign or be sold.
 
Could you read anything into Salah's post match comments when he said he hopes that he gets what he wants at the end of the season - paraphrasing. He was talking about reaching his own targets with regard to goals etc but I wondered if there was also a cryptic message in there.

salah was very honest.

he wants 40 goals
he wants the CL
He wants recognition from everyone of his greatness.

I wouldn't read into other things as he was asked to go on and talk and he did and he was way more honest than a prepped player would be. Double meanings are us wanting to read it into it.

We discussed a while back about Salah saying contract issue wasn't just about money. I wonder if it's about Captaincy.

I know the players put it to vote about who is next after Hendo and Milner and TAA was voted for above Salah.

Even if Hendo and Milner leave, Salah will probably never be captain and I wonder if that bothers him. He obviously is aware that he is a world class player and by many metrics our best player for the last several years. He could end his career never experiencing being a club captain despite being on the shortlist for worlds greatest player.

i think he loved the black tie occasions and loves those golden boots.

He will want to heavily outscore son in the remaining games.

FW award is a start but if LFC win the quad..... PFA award, Fans ward. FIFA award. Balon d'or.. he will want them all.

Depends how you look at it. Yes, it's only three weeks but we've been negotiating with Salah for months and their contracts end at the same time.
 
Imo Salah is off at the end of the season - PSG or Newcastle the likely destinations. It’s not what I want, it’s what I feel. The stand off on the contract has gone on too long.
