Mind you, out here in the boondocks property prices are soaring whilst wages are static at best.
well quite there is a ton of low paid service jobs including all sorts of important functions .

because the state props up low wages with benefits hence my cynicism with regard to low employment as being in work now still means you have a good chance of being officially poor .
sorry, some of my text got replaced. The public sector pay you see will be teachers and nurses I’m guessing - the service related jobs will bring averages down.

I know someone working for a blue-chip company earning just over 60k pa .She is a graduate and master degree holder of over 20 years eperience.
no as neither are civil servants officially .
