Ermmmmm..minamino ;)

But the point is well made.

But it's 20 league, 8 cl goals and 10 assists level of contribution we are talking about and only 6 are pens.

So it's not a bad return but worth 300k not more.

He needs to realise in his head that he shot to the moon season 1 and got all those plaudits but since then he's just been a top player not a messi or ronaldo or lewandowski.

We have surrounded him with players. We need to improve the midfield next but if he wants to gift us the funds to replace himself that's fine by me.

Diaz and jota will do nicely

minamino cost £7m - this season he has 9 goals from 22 appearances. Compare that to some others….Sancho for example. Current value is £15-20m.

Maybe not his best signing but certainly not a poor one.

He's a lovely lad but he is getting his chances due to

A) squad being good enough
B) cl won early (played last two to rest others)
C) very favourable fa cup and league cup draws.

So things have gone better for him and he's worked hard for it too.

But.....

On no day from now til eternity is he a player for lfc first team in a big game. That imo is the measure.

Jota walks in and people were saying on this very site that nobody would compete with mane firmino and salah and I for one was desperate to see more forward power and delighted when he proved the fee worth it even if he was a shock to be that option.

Diaz walks in and he is instantly great.

Minime with respect I couldn't give a **** what he cost, I know looking at a player if they are there to compete or another one of these signings that's just never yielding much.

Salah is clearly a big step below Messi and Ronaldo (maybe not this season's form but in general) like everyone else on the planet but does he believe that? In some ways, confidence is good, but when you're confident and got an agent whispering in your ear that you deserve more, we end up in situations like we're currently in.

Apart from PSG, no one wants him or can afford him. No club equal or bigger than Liverpool at least. He needs to decide between that extra 100k a week and flopping in Paris like many others (we play to his strengths massively), or staying here, winning more and famously becoming a legend. Gonna miss that 100k? Really?

I also thought Gini would come around to the "right" idea of staying but he wanted more pay and a longer contract at his age. Salah wants the same I guess and it so, thanks for your time and bye.

Remember this sounds politically brilliant

Salah messi neymar.

Then after 15mins salah doesn't pass to one and there's a massive fight.

The other two won't even walk back never mind chase back and then salah will get all angry.

For me this sounds ideal. 100mil or something to make this happen as salah hopefully will have two cls and maybe a hat trick in the final :bandit:

Then the press will write us off again and we will produce another signing and laugh at the pundits who said we would be outside top 4.

Can’t think why anyone would want to go to psg unless it’s for one final pay day.

Fans were booing the players in their last game that they won 3-0 cos they went out in the CL to madrid. If ever there was a club where the fans weren’t actually fans that is it. Gini must know he made a huge mistake going there. Is the extra few € you earn a week on top of already massive wages worth it to play in a meh lesgue with mercenary players in front of fans who don’t really like you.
He does regret it.....https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-georginio-wijnaldum-transfer-psg-26457353

Villarreal youngster Yeremi Pino has apparently been lined up as a potential long-term successor to Salah.
Liverpool who could well be at the front of the queue, with reports in Spain suggesting they've already made their first move.

Nah.

Simple fact rules this out.

He is right footed.

Just like Diaz, jota and mane.

We will be hunting a left footed player.
