Probably not. If we want a player out of there they would sell as they always want cash. However, let's see.

A lot of the time these are pure fiction, I'd reckon their aim is last 16 so whether one player is there or not makes no odds as their focus is more on their league

Liverpool have reportedly opened talks with highly-rated young Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo.

According to El Nacional, the Reds are prepared to double his wages in order to tempt him into making a move to Anfield.
The 22-year-old's contract expires in 2023, so Barcelona could be tempted to cash in on him while they can still command a transfer fee.

another CB. from uraguay as well. I would say we are more than willing poach him for nothing or pay barca the 5 mil they paid for him as they can't afford to even have caviar at their board meetings any more.

You wouldn't know what kind of agent is involved though, could be total rubbish but he fits the profile we look at

1. contract issue- check
2. age - check
3. resale value - check
 
Traore as previously put in some top quality performances but they are rarities. Could Klopp squeeze more out of him and make him consistent? He wouldn't get regular game time so can't see it myself
