I was thinking this but Salah really is in a tier of his own - he's the best player in the world. No other player in the squad would be able to go to Klopp / Edwards and say I want £400k a week in wages. I don't think anyone else would have an issue with Salah being the best paid player at the club, and if they do, they're deluded.
no one would have an issue with Mo being the highest paid however if the disparity is too big there will be players who will want a new contract on increased terms - its human nature .

I see Los Hajos Español believe JK is set to replace RK at Barca.

they are drunken mules if they think herr klopp has any interest in their broken down shambles of a club.

Its crystal clear at this point the main criteria for klopp is the fans sing you'll never walk alone (the club can be a shambles no problem)

For me this lads a vvd level player, as in he can take us to another level.

Dont care how much just sign him. Sign him now.

we don't have 100mil for him plus the wages. the time to strike was when dortmund got him from birmingham. we didn't try then we probably will never see it done now.

as i've said before i'm pretty sure we , and all the other top English teams . were very unlikely to get him as him , his family & agent all supposedly favoured Bundeslegia as they were convinced he would play much more and therefore further his development much quicker and only then move to a "top" club

best of luck to him cos he signed up to a team that will win nothing but in 2025 he will be the hottest free transfer going. he will be 22/23?

at that point then the wages will be astronomical OR everyone will have forgotten who he is.

This ties in with the Salah debate for me. I'm already astonished at how football has acted as though covid hasn't happened, and the trend just seems set to continue.
How long before this bubble bursts? Or more likely, of course, all we have left is a group of elite rich clubs who gobble up all of these top players at ridiculous prices and the rest of the leagues become part-time because the disparity has just become too great.

Bellingham is a proper talent and my guess is that he gets bought end of next season but by whom god knows .

That'll be a massive massive fee if so.

Dortmund have got him right where they want him. Same as haaland.

Pity they focus so much on doing this then pay little heed to the fact they are actually getting worse and are ****e defensively. Senior players like can looks seriously unfit.

I doubt Bellingham will go for £100m...............more likely to be £70m/£80m.

I'd love to know. Second option is highly likely but most small clubs fans would say that's today.

We stole Gordon, elliott, sterling etc for smaller clubs
