I still assume we cannot buy until someone goes. I am sure karius won't be an issue for us and will be shovelled out on loan or sold if he is willing to be sold of course.

Shaqiri is not talking like he is on his way but he is meant to be a lazio target.

Origi looks in good shape fomr training but i just feel if we don't see him Thursday he is off.

Cant see minimino being bought by anyone so we are stuck there.

As I've said before if we had an english club trained keeper willing to sit on our bench it'd be so much better than adrian taking a foreign slot.

I doubt the squad list is all that big a deal to stop a signing but the vlaue of shaqirir and oririg this sumemr is norht of 20mil and we cannot afford to blow that

I can see this running til deadline day myself.

no mate, he's just having to up up with them. He's actually got a bit of a story, Haitian parents, born in yankland then moved to canada apparently and played for gent in the belgian league.

probably a bit of a work permit issue or something but certainly barely objectionable for you surely? hardly a whiff of garlic there.

I don't doubt half the world is "interested" the issue is he's at a club where he has a contract for another 3 years or so

Add in he is a right footed player who likes to play left wing and theres these two lads called mane and jota.

Fabinho signed new 5 year deal. Following TAA in signing a deal last week.

thought i read we were looking to tie down 5 players to new contracts. Not sure who the others are, henderson, seems the obvious one. Think most others signed new deals a year or two ago?

edit: just seen article saying salah, vvd alisson and Robbo also being lined up with new deals.

Allison, VVD and Mo are the priorities for me now.

Henderson - we have to tread carefully. We don't want to set a precedent and be stuck with an ageing player who is injury prone on a huge and long deal. I think the way we dealt with Gini says a lot with how we treat players once they hit 30 ...

I know it's hard to comprehend, but its not just about the name or the amount.

Is varane better than lindeloff, obviously. Will it matter if ole sits him on the edge of the box to cover for Maguires lack of pace, probably not.

Haaland is a great player, but Chelsea isn't exactly a patient club.

it’s not that hard to comprehend mate when you’re talking about someone who is proven to be one of the best CB’s in the world. Proven with trophies like, not done pretty well in German football. They’ve signed a defending star imo.
