Liverpool 'step up interest' in Osimhen
Liverpool are stepping up their interest in Lille striker Victor Osimhen, according to the Express .

Osimhen has scored 13 goals in Ligue 1 so far this season, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly ordered detailed scouting reports on the Nigerian forward.

The 21-year-old netted 20 goals for Belgian side Charleroi last season while on loan from Wolfsburg, and has continued his scoring form in this campaign.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly turned down an approach from Paris-Saint Germain after spending an hour on the phone with sporting director Leonardo.

According to a report from France, Leonardo contacted Klopp to sound him out about becoming the next PSG boss, with current head coach Thomas Tuchel under pressure.

Super-rich PSG are dominant in their domestic league, but the club's bosses want to win the Champions League - and Tuchel could be on his way out if he doesn't achieve that this season.

With Liverpool currently 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League, having been crowned champions of Europe last season, Klopp has become arguably the world's most coveted manager.

Since last season's Champions League triumph, the German has also added the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup to Liverpool's trophy cabinet.

Laughable.................Klopp would never go to PSG anyway <laugh>

Klopp just signed a new deal for starters. I dont ever think he would go to a PSG, that's much more suited for Jose and Pep

RBS losing two of their best players for a pitiful £24.3m.

Their policy of having dodgy low release clauses, so that they can sell onto RBL for peanuts, has really bit them in the arse
