Rafa Benitez came second, the following season we went downhill, Brenden Rodgers came second the same thing happen, I can only hope we are going
uphill this season.
uphill this season.
Regardless of signings finishing above city's endless money team will be difficult for any team. So I don't think not winning the title this year means we're going backwards tbhRafa Benitez came second, the following season we went downhill, Brenden Rodgers came second the same thing happen, I can only hope we are going
uphill this season.
And I'm allowed my opinion on it too.![]()
lets pray we looking to bring in some FB cover.I do think we were genuinely in for Pepe but the price is too high.
Let’s hope we have someone else in mind ...
To be relegated: Manchester city, Liverpool ,and Chelsea.Relgation battle for us this season. [HASHTAG]#calledit[/HASHTAG]
.Nah just us and the chavs. To be relegated: Manchester city, Liverpool ,and Chelsea..

I wasn't complaining, as such - I said I don't understand it, and I stand by that.I don’t have an issue with you being happy with the squad as it is.
I was commenting more on you complaining about other people being ‘negative’ because they want to see us strengthen before the season starts.
He bought Lovern and CoutinhoRodgers was clueless in the market and I doubt anyone would hear his name and be desperate to play for him.
.lets pray we looking to bring in some FB cover.
Klopp likes Gomez at RB and Milner at LB, that's your FB cover
He also likes Gomez as a #1 choice for CB and Milner as a utility midfielder. They can’t do both jobs and we got stretched last year. Gomez got injured ‘standing in’ at RB after we had let Clyne go on loan. Milner was got at after that, although this was on the right, not the left.
I wasn't complaining, as such - I said I don't understand it, and I stand by that.
This is the essence of debate, we can offer alternative points of view. I wasn't attempting to prohibit them from expressing their concern. I was merely offering my differing point of view, ie - that pre-season is no great indicator of the season to come, and I don't share their feelings of apprehension at this stage.
Only if we look bad when the season starts in earnest will I start to worry. It isn't within our power to do anything about it one way or the other, so why worry about something that hasn't happened yet?
On a related note: There are a couple of areas where I think we could benefit from strengthening, but I can't make it happen. I trust Klopp's record so far in that I believe that if we don't make additions, there will be genuine reasons for this. Either he thinks the squad is adequate, or he can't get the players he wants.
We have seen often that he's not prepared to buy unless he feels it's the right move. I'd much rather that than BR's scattergun approach to the transfer market.
