Our weakness is teams that sit back with everyone behind the ball defending and giving no space.
Coutinho's strength is finding space where there is none and does well when teams don't press and give him time on the ball.
If we had Coutinho it would be a lot more dangerous to sit back and wait for us to come at them.
That said, my concerns are more of a non-footballing matter. Footballers don't like getting their pay cut and Coutinho makes more than many more integral members of our squad.
Does everyone get a pay raise, or will we upset some people?
I don't care so much that he left us looking for greener pastures... That's what footballers do. I do worry his income may upset the balance and harmony of the team however.
On the field though he is EXACTLY what we have been missing and would have been enough imo to put us ahead of City last season.
