Ajax have seemingly moved the goalposts in the deal for Matthijs de Ligt.

The real irony is he'd have probably made a lot more money had he concentrated on his football rather than chasing money.

The sighting is the latest clue that the Spurs midfielder has set his heart on a move to Real Madrid this summer, having already admitted that he wants a new challenge.

There's a similar argument been had about managers who want to go to Real or PSG for a 'new challenge'. If they really wanted a challenge they could try Huddersfield
