He had lfc, bayern, spurs, city and real Madrid to pick from. He went for the club who sent a private jet for him and either selfied the fact or let real publish it. If I had been him bayern would have been club

Liverpool are confident Divock Origi will agree a new long-term contract after Jurgen Klopp held talks with him while on holiday, Football Insider understands. The Champions League winners have offered the Belgian striker a five-year deal with a significant pay hike following his goal heroics last season. 7.10 UDPATE: Matthijs de Ligt transfer twist Ajax have seemingly moved the goalposts in the deal for Matthijs de Ligt. The centre-back has agreed personal terms on a move to Juventus but Ajax are demanding more money to sell him. That could open the door back up for the likes of PSG and Manchester United to get back into the market for the defender. De Ligt is seen as the top young defender in the game after impressing for Ajax last term.
everyone like you is entitled to their opinion. will we get EVERYTIME someone says a comment, well that doesn't apply to me blah blah, well it would for most, you don't count as the most, well done. besides its easier to make a comment, not chasing money when you are not in that position isn't it besides, the irony of your post is this was done with until you commented ffs lol
The real irony is he'd have probably made a lot more money had he concentrated on his football rather than chasing money. Bit touchy this morning aren't we?
Eriksen drops Madrid hint According to The Times, members of Christian Eriksen’s family have been spotted house hunting in Madrid. The sighting is the latest clue that the Spurs midfielder has set his heart on a move to Real Madrid this summer, having already admitted that he wants a new challenge. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has slapped a £100m price tag on the Dane, despite the playmaker only having one-year left on his contract in north London. Neither United or Liverpool keen on Aubameyang According to 90min.com, Arsenal are ready to listen to offers for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with Unai Emery willing to part with his most saleable asset to raise transfer funds. The Gunners want to sign Wilfried Zaha and Kieran Tierney, but their summer budget of £45m must be augmented with sales if the north London club are to meet the asking prices for the pair. Arsenal have already had an initial bid of £15m rejected by Celtic for Tierney, while Crystal Palace are demanding £80m for star man Zaha. Aubameyang, who won the Premier League Golden Boot last season, has been touted as the Gunners’ most valuable asset and according to Tuttosport, has said ‘yes’ to a potential move to Manchester United. However, the report claims neither United or Liverpool are interested as it stands. United are thought to be focusing on young homegrown players, while Liverpool would only entertain a move if Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane left the club - which seems about as unlikely as it gets this summer.
Have a feeling that there will be a lot of mega transfers (£70m plus) after the tournaments are done. Neymar, Greizman > Barca Coutinho, ? > PSG Sane, ? > Bayern Zaha > Arsenal Pogba, Ericsson > Real Madrid McGuire > City Also have a sneaky feeling that a bid might come on for the likes of Salah from what will be a cash rich PSG (are they ever not but you know what I mean).
There's always 2 sides to everything and we usually have a very clear dividing line on here. It's what makes discussions good because as fellow fans we never agree on anything
Very true mate, but big dif between turning down a 40k a year job to be happy earning 30k instead. These are youngsters thrown into the limelite at a young age and chase the money. Most earn more than we do in a lifetime and have achieved **** all. Its too easy to sit here and critisize as its not an option we ever face. Like I said Madrid at 18 and on silly money who wouldn't? Weather outside is nice isn't it We have had our fair share of supposed future stars, as have a lot of English clubs who have failed to make the big time. Just my 2 pennies worth lol
True. We'll never know what it's like to be rich and they'll never know what it's like to have to shop the yellow labels
I detect the dead hand of "the agent" here. I expect there are some good ones but I do wonder if they ever take the long view. It seems a total circus with FIFA and UEFA doing their usual cr*p job in terms of regulation.
Not going into it as it clearly touched a nerve earlier but if you're going to ask that question, expect a answer!
I very often make the mistake of looking at things like a parent and I think what would I be telling my extremely gifted footballer son.
So how many times have you had that decision to make lol. Exactly. Big dif between 30k a year to 40k a week. Like no one on here would put themselves first and earn the money and have a wonderful lifestyle living in Madrid at 18! Crock of ****. Yeah I would love to play for you real and the wonderful lifestyle and wages, but I need to learn my trade first, so **** it I will play for Burton Albion on £100 a week as I have Morales don't you know!!!
Wonder who will go in for Bruno Fernandes. Seems like he has to move this summer after sensational year
There's a similar argument been had about managers who want to go to Real or PSG for a 'new challenge'. If they really wanted a challenge they could try Huddersfield
