He could still go in the summer for a nominal fee, if Leeds come up and depending on who we sign. With a fit Ox will he get near the first team. He is a lot slower than last season.

I forgot about VAR. Maybe they will change the rules and like in American football when you can bring on a kicker we can bring him on just for penalties, he could stay with us until he is in his sixties on that basis!
I hope that whoever we sign, they are also a dead ball specialist. We rarely score direct from free kicks. I thought at one stage that TAA was going to be part of the solution but he hasn’t improved in this aspect of his game.
Tbf from the few I've seen, they're usually too far out. We need to be smarter in drawing fouls in TAA's range
Yep, he’s gone and won’t get anything like that money from anywhere. It also frees up decent money for a top signing! If Milner goes too (not that I think he should) - we’ll have £220k/month.
Add Moreno and then possibly Lovren, lallana and Clyne and that would be nearly £500k/week saving. That’s massive - we could get 4 players of bobby’s quality....2.5 Salah’s, over 3 vvd’s....

Can't see Lovren or Lallana going; they're both Klopp guys. Plus, if all five of those went, we'd be looking at five, six or seven coming in which I think is high unlikely.

Leeds are his home town club and he wants to finish there.
The fact is James Pearce said it was 2020 way back in September and his own paper said it was 2019 in November... after Pearce commented.
After that other sources pick up on these and comment.

Utd were so desperate to deny city a player.... its hilarious they ended up 6th from 2nd as a result.
