I wasn't having a go at you, just a general comment that they're all much of a muchness. We shouldn't know who the targets are, that's a bit like peeping at your presents before Christmas.
We shouldn't, the thing is the club like most clubs is leaking stuff for it's own purposes.
For a real rumour you can have 3 sources, selling club, agent or buying club.... you can usually tell. Then there's the **** trope that's not worth anyone's time thst completevrubbish or recycled.
If Liverpool leak something out then it's worth wondering why.
It's a bit like film or music stars who die young being made into legends.
Well... they have some form of strategy somewhere when they let the public know something.

No need to heap expectations on the guy. He's got a long way to go before he's anywhere near the "new Gerrard", and it's unfair to saddle him with that tag.
A few fans getting carried away isn't going to effect the lad.
Can't say I've seen anyone label him the new Gerrard. Assuming it to be true as you suggest, it's just a ridiculous suggestion that doesn't warrant interaction.

He probably has the same agent as someone already at our club.. or like in most jobs you actually speak to people working in a similar field. It feeds the Twitter fiends so let them have it!
