We don't know the medical results, you're right but chances are a dodgy knee shows up on the day not as the result of waiting on a blood test. The weirdest thing was the leaked photo in the red kit. That makes it more likely it was a change in transfer fee which quite possibly was instigated by LFC over knee concerns that they didn't see as a deal breaker.
that's true but don't forget he's have an mri or what have you are the club asked to looked his results from prior etc... we don't just look at a guy on the outside and say yeah that scar looks healed you must be fine my point is we do not know why. his agent makes a claim but why should we believe it.
I'd have thought his Spire medical (or whichever outside clinic they use) would have already been done so xrays etc. already seen. Agree with you, don't take the agent's word for it but without the real information you go with what's most likely. For me that seems to be that he did pass the medical but LFC tried to renegotiate the fee based on medical findings and the agent advised his client to walk away.
I have no idea if he failed it or not so I'm just going to leave it as one that didn't happen. I'd rather we didn't publicise his issues as it's not our clubs business anyway.
Just read what Melissa Reddy said - club didn't want to pay out for an "instantly depreciating asset".
But perhaps his medical situation does. If he is fairly injure hampered already, the suggestion would be he's going to be prone to future injuries particularly if the medical found a problem. Sturridge would be the prime example of this. His injury record and the fact he's likely to suffer more means that the club could never really cash in on him and are now waiting for his contract to run down.
perhaps but we don't really know. we know he's played a full season this year that's about it. the player himself is running his contract down.

Liverpool eyeing summer move for Memphis Depay Liverpool are watching Memphis Depay - four years after missing out on the Dutch winger when he joined Manchester United. Depay, who is now rated at £50million, is looking to leave French club Lyon for another shot at one of Europe’s major leagues. Depay looked Merseyside-bound in 2015 – only for Louis van Gaal to sanction a £30m bid, which saw the 25-year-old leave PSV Eindhoven for United. He has scored six goals in his last eight appearances for Holland and Dutch boss Ronald Koeman reckons he is now ready to move to a bigger club. Koeman said: “Memphis is dangerous in the box. He creates goals and scores a lot of goals. “He has been vital to Holland and has helped us get to the Nations League finals in June.” Source: Daily Mirror
