No thanks to Ramsey. And Lallana just needs to go. No time for him - another injury and he’s not even a key player for us. He’s 30 and on big wages.

Once a new AM comes in, Lallana is surely gone.

He looked dynamite the other night. Like a younger Mane. Easily MOTM - he'll have a role this season for Chelsea imo.
Sarri has said he is staying with the first team squad following his pre-season performances. Apparently MOTM in 2 running just need to see if that faith is carried forward into real game time.

Question: since Peter Moore become LFC’s CEO, things have started to get done. Big signings, finince in place, forward thinking.....is this just a coincidence or is he really making a difference? Obviously Klopp is the biggest factor here but his first couple of years in the transfer market under Ayre were a little underwhelming.

Moore isn’t involved in signings and the footballing side. That is Mike Edwards.

Moore’s focus is on the business and growing the club.

tbh.... not sure about it.

he was hired as a commercial man primarily.

the common threads are mike gordan, Michael Edwards and jurgen klopp.

mike gordan is the fsg guy who is really the only one interested. the other two barely show up. so he's the guy with all the real power to make calls.

klopp is the football man.

Edwards is a no Mark imo due to the things he did before

imo the things that have really changed are:

1. money. we are not broke.

2. actually pulling in one direction and not buying two entirely different style of players. e.g. benteke one moment and areas the other. this is down to klopp.

3. clear vision of a players attributes and personality to give to the large team of scouts. there can be no coincidence that players all have the same base personality a tribute and willingness to work.

just my opinion but actually buying the players the manager wants at a price that clubs are willing to deal at seems to work.. who would have thought eh?

Liverpool spent a world-record transfer fee on Alisson Becker but it seems they are saving a few pennies by not printing his name on the back of his shirt.

The Reds splashed out £65million to sign the Brazilian from Roma this summer and make him the most expensive goalkeeper in football history.

He made his first start for the Anfield outfit on Saturday evening and kept a clean sheet in the 5-0 thrashing of Serie A giants Napoli in a pre-season friendly in Dubiln.

However, the mega-money superstar was seemingly not give the five-star treatment by Jurgen Klopp’s backroom team as his name was written on his kit in pen.

I thought he went under his first name anyway.
Has someone pointed out that it's a girl's name in our culture and suggested he use his surname?
As far as I'm concerned Alisson is the name he's been known by and so he should keep it - it might provide mild amusement for a while but that will wear off.
