Melissa Reddy on Anfield Wrap talking about Fekir transfer:
"When Liverpool have really liked a player and there's been complications and hardships, they find a way.
"The only thing is, this wasn't a 'we disagree on figures, we disagree on wages' - it's a medical thing.
"I think if there is some sort of way to get the player and protect their best interests as a club, they'll find a way to do it."

Rangers have reportedly won the race to sign Liverpool winger Ryan Kent on a season-long loan deal.

Kent has made just one first-team outing for the Merseyside giants, but the 21-year-old remains highly-regarded and has spent time out on loan in the Championship and Bundesliga.

According to The Scottish Sun, the attacker will spend a year in another division with Rangers closing in on the temporary addition of the young Englishman.

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is now manager of Rangers and while nine first-team signings have already been made, the former England international is yet to be impressed with his team's efforts in the final third.

That has allegedly resulted in Gerrard reassuring Liverpool that Kent will be granted regular first-team football should he make the move North of the border

The Premier League outfit have already allowed Ovie Ejaria to spend the next campaign in Glasgow.

I think we might have decided to wait and let him prove his fitness here. I dunno.

I was told it'd be done but if theres an insurance issue then some evidence has to show he is over the injury.

I thought they'd got around insurance issues, or whatever it is relating to the knee injury, by requesting an unusual transfer deal. There's been no talk about Lyon turning down a payment in stages deal which would surely nicely circumnavigate any insurance issues.

I dunno. the players contract has to be paid up if his career ends so if he is on 150k per week for 5 years that's what insurance is for

If the new number gives him more incentive when he plays, I'm all for it.
