If we sign Alisson and Karius doesn't leave, we'll be forcing a unhappy player to stay imo
If Karius thinks he’s good enough then he’ll stay and fight for his place simple as that. We’ll see if he feels like he’s good enough to earn a place soon

Both Mings and Karius will not find it too difficult to find other clubs, they have just been the scapegoats most of the time with you lot. Dropped bollocks, yep but then most people do. Karius was a damn good keeper at Mainz and Mings is not as bad as you all make out.
Alissons stature is that at 25 years old he has played 81 first team games at club level.I think that if approached the right way (ie- we still believe in you and value you, it’s just that as a team we’ve developed into elite status quicker than you have and we need that calibre of keeper now), Karius can handle being taken down a peg because of Alisson’s stature. If this situation was being played out with a Butland calibre keeper, I’d agree that it would destroy karius’s confidence to play second fiddle.

Who do you think will pay 10mil plus 75k wages per week for mingolet?
Karius is easier dispose of but is there any English club bidding? If not and he goes to Germany who will take him? Over there 40k a week is a big thing

Guess they are both ****ed then, may as well retire nowWho do you think will pay 10mil plus 75k wages per week for mingolet?

Mig would walk into most teams in the Prem below the top 6 as well as a lot of decent level clubs in Europe.
Alisson is still a keeper that Karius cant deny is 100% more well regarded than he is. In that sense, taking a ba karat to him should be less devastating to his confidence than if the club were to replace him with a keeper he might feel he’s equal to or better than.Alissons stature is that at 25 years old he has played 81 first team games at club level.

What makes you think he wants to go? The first sign of a challenge and he wants off? He's hardly got much to back up any claim that he should be number 1 ahead of Alisson.
He'll stick around for a season because Klopp will play him in the FA Cup and League Cup.
I can thinking 40,000 reasons every week for him to stay.
I think one of the two will go on loan not be sold.
Well, I guess that's what it comes down to...
Money vs integrity/pride/honour/etc
Money has won that battle 99.95% of the time.
Like Buffon turned up at psg.
Sturridge staying where he is at.
Etc etc
Tbh if pride make a player scurry off and hide when a club signs another player in your position it doesn't say great things about him.
Makes me laugh. All summer, fans have been slating Karius left, right and centre, they wanted him replaced at whatever cost. Suddenly it looks likely they'll get their wish but they're not content with that, they want Karius will stay loyal and sit on the sidelines as backup in case we need him [HASHTAG]#moderndayfootballfanlogic[/HASHTAG]
