Wouldn’t start every game but I’d feel more optimistic having Shaqiri come on instead of Solanke or Ings. Still got 8 goals and 7 assists for a struggling stoke last season.

Shaqiri would be a good squad option imo. Not amazing, but he's creative and will drive forward to make things happen. Just what you want when resting one of our big players or coming off the bench.

Every faith in Klopp that he can make it work.

Really hope we don't touch Shaqiri. Cast off by Bayern and the only takers were Inter. Inter didn't want him a year later and again the only takers were stoke. I assume he took that as a chance to step up to a bigger team but he has been here 3 years now and no one wanted him.

meh... leave this til something actually happens.

he is at world cup so its patently obvious nothing is going to happen this side of the tournament at this point.... it's highly likely to be agent stoking up attention for his fat lazy client to get one more payday


if we bought him it's take 6 months to get him in shape
 
It is understood a breakthrough of sorts has been made, with Fekir indicating he will only go to Liverpool – and the president conceding he will do a deal with the Reds if he feels the price is right. [@MaddockMirror]

ALISSON TO LIVERPOOL?

Roberto Firmino has been speaking to the press today at Brazil's training camp ahead of the World Cup and he was asked about rumours linking Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker with a move to Liverpool.

Here's what Firmino had to say...

"Sometimes I talk to him about it and joke with him, saying 'you should come to Liverpool'. His agent is sorting his future but it wouldn't be a bad thing to have him here at Liverpool."
