TBH it's just a banter opportunity.

FSG lent LFC money for stadium interest free. for one stand.

Council lending money to everton on interest rate shows moshiri is all mouth and no trousers that all <whistle> the whole point of old bill selling up was he couldn't finance anything and no bank to lend to everton for it. It seems Moshiri is benefiting from a very generous mayor to get this done.. It'll be fabulous when done but i don't see necessarily where council will make 200mil over 25 years on this loan. They must be assuming a lot of activity and tax returns
I realise that. It does make me wonder whether the Council should be investing in other bits of the project and leaving the football bit to EFC. They do have Goodsion as security for a loan of their own do they not?

The Goodison site wouldn't raise enough to cover the £280m the council will lend the club, no doubt Moshiri is laughing his plums off over the whole lot of it.

I haven't paid all that much attention tbh but thought goodison was destined for new housing.

I think that means its value in in the money that everton will invest in the new stadium on thier side of it. (like our 50mil foir kirkby is funded out of new housing at melwood)
