No, Everton pay the interest and a fee to the council each year for facilitating this.

 

Fair enough. I have no problem with a local council borrowing money to invest in infrastructure projects as such.

 

TBH it's just a banter opportunity.

FSG lent LFC money for stadium interest free. for one stand.

Council lending money to everton on interest rate shows moshiri is all mouth and no trousers that all the whole point of old bill selling up was he couldn't finance anything and no bank to lend to everton for it. It seems Moshiri is benefiting from a very generous mayor to get this done.. It'll be fabulous when done but i don't see necessarily where council will make 200mil over 25 years on this loan. They must be assuming a lot of activity and tax returns
