According to reports (Daily Star), Klopp has entered the race to sign Mexican international Hirving Lozano. It is stated that Liverpool have made contact and could start a bidding war with Arsenal to hire the services of the 22-year-old playmaker

In pictures: Van Dijk's first Melwood training session


After putting the finishing touches to his move to Liverpool, Virgil van Dijk took part in his first Melwood training session on Sunday.


The Dutchman jogged around the pitches at the Reds' training base with head of fitness and conditioning Andreas Kornmayer before undergoing some routine medical tests.
