Liverpool Remain Unlikely to Sell Philippe Coutinho in January Despite Saturday’s Nike snafu, there appears to be no done deal—and that’s unlikely to change this month. https://liverpooloffside.sbnation.c...elona-january-nike-mistake-website-shirt-link
I suppose if FSG really wanted to they could sue Nike over the advertisement, but then they'd have to prove there's been no negotiations with Barca going on behind the scenes.
Why would they have to prove that? Nike has no right to publicise the negotiations of any other business.
Maybe you're right, but I'd like to know what's been going on behind the scenes since we publicly ****ed them off last summer.
Some think it has already happened. Barcelona shirts with Coutinho s name have already been put on the market by Nike. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42527428
tbh I don't give a ****. the player has played decent all season, klopps got a decent thing going but for too many draws so I really don't care what Barca are at.... or nike.. We just spent 75mil on our record signing... no way im.getting all glum over this ****e
Liverpool owner John Henry has offered Coutinho a contract extension, and the club are said to be ‘desperate’ to get a renewal signed, according to Mundo Deportivo. It’s a new slant for the Catalan newspaper, who say Liverpool still want to keep Coutinho, despite everything that has happened and the player’s desire to leave, but they know it’s going be near enough impossible to keep him against his will.. http://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool...hn-henry-heavily-involved-want-player-onside/
irrelevant.. at least to any sale process. If we want him to stay and are willing to penny 250 or 300k work away. I still really don't care.
the thing is I reckon Nike deliberately did this for publicity as there's no way a deal is even happening this week never.mind in 24 hours as the player played this weekend. that says no deal is close and no offer. so.... nike going for cheap publicity as there was never a marketing process with Barca someone jumped the gun on. I bet they have loads of shirts to sell.
