I'm not saying we don't want a more aggressive midfield - far from it - I'm just speculating that maybe Klopp won't risk Grujic because he thinks he's too reckless.
Like Moreno. That's why we never play hi.....
Oh, hang on....

My personal opinion is grujic looks like

A) tactically he only wants to go forward
B) his intensity is not as high as it should be.

I dont see him as playing a no 6, he wants to wander off ibto the opposition pen area like a no 10.

He doesn't play fast or press hard. He has skills and aggression but not intensity

Tbh Jimmy and this is not personal but the guy is very unimpressive. I've watched him warm up etc and he is the most lackadaisical guy ever.

I think he's got talent but the attitude isn't there imo.

Having said that brad Jones looked brill warming up, his distribution warming up was amazing and then in a game you couldn't even dare pass it to him cos he was a turd on the ground. <laugh>

Don’t get me wrong - he really needs to up his game. But there are signs of potential which he won’t realise unless he gets a proper run. If no improvement after a full season, then we should look to upgrade.

Tbh in the cl thus far he's had a couple moments that are scary but None of the goals have been down to him or a savage shot going in.

It is a start for him but in the end mingolet has not exactly flogged too many just lately. I think it's improved him as well.

Was just reading that Salah has equalled a club record of 10 league goals in his first 13 games.

The record was currently held by....wait for it....

Sturridge <doh>

If ever there was a warning about how quickly things can change.....

Injury did for Sturridge - he's never going to get it back.
Let's just hope Mo doesn't go the same way.

Whilst Karius has made errors, there are parallels - he’s made some big saves for us and you can argue he got us a point against Sevilla.

Like I say, he may not be long term Answer but there is potential so I rather give him a proper go in goals.

Disagree, he hasn't made barely any outstanding saves bar the Seville match. However, maybe its time to give him another good go

Liverpool and Juventus both want to sign Sporting Lisbon's 22-year-old winger Gelson Martins. (A Bola, via Talksport)
Liverpool have approached Al Ahl over a transfer move for West Brom loan star Ahmed Hegazi, according to reports. Hegazi, 26, completed a season-long loan deal with the Baggies ahead of the 2017/18 campaign and has impressed for the Premier League outfit, making seven appearances since the start of the season.

I don't recall any good Saves either.

Ahem.

Cl group is piss easy.

Seville at home... no chance to make one
Spartak away. 0-0 they never tried to attack
Maribor home and away. Embarrassingly easy.
Seville. Made one very good save, did ok in his box and rushing out.

This is all on the basis of one game tbh..... what can he do but play the games given.

People are imo far too critical of mingolet at times but we all know he's not up to the top level.

Timo Horn doesn't like coming out for crosses and sometimes come across nervous (not what we need right now).

Gregory K from PSG is good but I don't think he fits what we need. He dwells on the balls and can play long balls forward. He has a good reading of the game but his tackling stats aren't spectacular and I'm not sure he can keep up with the pace of the league.

<yikes>

and he was.. I mean nobody should deny the lad looked absolutely pants.

TBH he's had a few moments and i'm not sure the CL "form" can be translated into a premier league "form" give how little a european game tests a keeper in the rough and tumble.

Yes the prem is **** but keepers have to be able to stand up to it.

Thats why i respect Ederson so much. He took the kick and was back up no complaining (once he came too in hospital :) ) I think he's a top top top keeper.
