Could have stomached Oxo but rather not have spent that money on him. Quietly pleased we have zappacosta then oxo, not because i think he's a better player (i have no idea) but i'd rather spend 20 on a squad wingback then 40 on one.

Please don't let the drinky transfer go through. Bang average. See response to muzzy.

Just use Luiz or Willian at CM if we need to have cover for bakayoko/kante

We signed Sandro but he's 21 and inexperienced. We've added goals to the squad but we've not signed the experienced No.9 that was required. We've now got a good side and squad but it looks toothless and lacking a focal point.

As I say, the testicle check we were taught how to do at school! Grandad died of TC so have always done the check regularly..not Like I'm a foreigner to my nads anyway lol.

to be honest i'm surprised you guys didnt try to go in for llorente.

I would have been happy to have bought llorente for 12m. No idea what happened between him and Chelsea (from the sounds of it we didn't want to pay what was effectively chump change).

He'd have been a great backup for any team and spurs have a steal there. I think he could have done a job for you guys and he hooked up really well with Sigi. Only thing is maybe he's a bit slow for you guys but he's a classy hold up man

Seen a post on BBC saying it's 'the end of player power' with Van Dijk, Sanchez and the Anfield thumb sucker all staying put

Well, not totally I would say, in fact far from it since the market is still hyper-inflated, but it's good to see clubs holding players to their deals and at least trying to make them accountable, whether they actually play to the best of their abilities until January obviously remains to be seen

Commodities generally cost more over time though so 35million for example for AOC seems paying over the odds for sure but what are you comparing it to ... fees 2, 5, 10 years ago ?? I could do that for a bag of porridge oats every time I go to the supermarket

He's a bit of a lamppost imo. They'd have never sold us him as well anyway, after the Gylfi marathon

The fact that the only team that had no power was Barca makes it even funnier.

Yeah i don't get the whole ox as wing back thing. Just makes no sense to me. Never heard or seen this RB you got but last wing back you got from Italian side has done you ok.

Drinkwater going through it seems, such a random transfer. He was decent but made to look twice player he is because of Kante. As 4th choice behind Kante bakayoko and Fabregas could have just used a youngster, although guess this is chelsea talking about <whistle>
