Am struggling to understand why Can hasn't been given the deal he's looking for. From what I recall, it wasn't a ridiculous number in today's world and he's a £50m ish asset in today's world!

I have a feeling klopp was referencing Can when he spoke about how CL will make it easier to sign players to new contracts.
There's nothing wrong with it as long as you get your fee out of him.
10mil for him prob has been well paid off. It was up to lfc to sell him if he was willing to go last year.
At least he has fulfilled his contract.
Maybe he noticed Can had thrown his towel down over his spot in the dressing room after the CL game
