In fairness while we are not in right.... it is very rare that this situation occurs.
If a club say like utd or real bid on an arsenal player it is only reasonable for arsenal to want the player not to go to a rival.

No, Liverpool and Chelsea could match offers but there is nothing forcing saints to accept them both. It's up to them who they sell to. If they want to accept one and reject then others that's entirely up to them.
