Will he or won't he?

Philippe Coutinho's Liverpool future continues to be debated in the newspapers and across the airwaves.

Now Joey Barton has had his say on the matter after the Reds rejected a third bid from Barcelona - believed to be in the region of £114m.

“He [Coutinho] wants out, and if you’re getting up to what are they now, almost £120m, it just looks like how much rather than if or when," the former Manchester City midfielder tells Talksport.

“He’s not a Scouser, he’s a Brazilian. He’s already living a fair distance away from home and he’s probably grown up wanting to play for Barcelona.

"No disrespect to Liverpool, but that’s the club Brazilian youngsters grow up wanting to play for nowadays. It’s not the Liverpool of the 80s, it’s Liverpool who haven’t won a title for over 20 years, so you can’t blame the boy."

He is toast. Fans now only have eyes for mane

Not in my book. He's Latin american, like Luis. I love Luis and would have him back tomorrow, but fundamentally they're all as 'loyal' as Little Finger. The guy is, and has been since he walked thriugh the door, one of the most watchable footballers in the Prem who plays the game the way you dreamed of playing it when you were a kid.

Yes, he's inconsistent, but I'm old enough to truly remember Dalglish - he was too. And Barnes. That's why we have Firmino in the team, to balance the perspiration with the inspiration. And even when he goes next year - deffo now he's burned his bridges with Klopp- we'll still struggle to replace his genius. Providing he gets his head down and swallows his pride, considering it is a WC year, he has my unqualified support. If he wants to be a dick and sit in stands all season we haven't lost anything anyway, and to use Jermain Jackass's phrase in its proper context, he'd be cutting his nose off to spite his face.

Fee wise / debut wise - who's done better?

Rooney, he was free and he's scored a match winning goal. Robertson on the other hand wasn't key to the win against Palace.

or Mounie from Huddersfield or Mooy.

Or Hegazi at West Brom

Jese at Stoke

Messi 'will sign new deal'
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague claims that Lionel Messi is certain to sign a new deal at Barcelona.
The Catalan club are desperate to tie down their star man following the departure of Neymar and while he has not put pen to paper yet, all has been agreed.

Liverpool would have sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona if Adam Lallana was fit - Barton

You were ****ing wrong Joey, just admit it. :emoticon-0136-giggl

Its Rooney's job to score goals, it's Red Robbo's job to prevent the opposition scoring.

So they both played their part in their club's victories.<whistle>
