*Barca offered us some money for Couts. (£114m)
*The majority wast o be paid off like a mortgage (£80m over 5 years)
*But only if he becomes the greatest player ever and cures cancer while he's at it. (seriously ludicrous add-ons like winning Ballon d'ors etc, something Neymar wasn't even able to do at Barca)
*Computer, or in this case FSG, said No. (Rejected in a matter of minutes)
*Barca threatened to take their bat home if we didn't accept by 7pm (seriously they threatened to end interest if didn't accept an already rejected offer)
*Everyone's laughing at how cheap Barca are coming off (Everyone's laughing at how cheap Barca are coming off)
Does sound like Barcelona wanted to show their supporters that they had "tried" their best to replace Neymar. Not sure they were that keen after their first offer was rejected. Their last offer was just a laughable PR stunt and no better than their previous ones. The person who had lost most from this seems to have been Coutinho. He has lost the fans. But a few good (important) goals might start his rehabilitation;)

Coutinho deal off
07.30: The Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona saga is nearly over - and Liverpool have won the battle, according to Guillem Balague.
Barcelona have made three bids for Coutinho but are yet to make a breakthrough with Liverpool insisting he won’t be sold.
And Balague thinks the situation is now closed.

Not the first time in this little saga he will be wrong.

We all need to now see this **** is in their pocket and was part of their attack on us so he should be black listed

He is toast. Fans now only have eyes for mane

I do think we won't see Coutinho play for us for quite some time. If he has refused to play for us then he will find himself to be very lonely and most likely fined by the club.
Nothing like the Suarez situation. He was one of the best players to ever play for us and one of the best in the world, he was also just desperate to play and loves to compete. Coutinho isn't, I don't see the fans getting behind him nor do I see him putting in the performances to turn things around.

Golem ballbag doing Barca's dirty work again. It's still designed to unsettle Couthino.

Messi 'will sign new deal'
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague claims that Lionel Messi is certain to sign a new deal at Barcelona.
The Catalan club are desperate to tie down their star man following the departure of Neymar and while he has not put pen to paper yet, all has been agreed.

Liverpool would have sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona if Adam Lallana was fit - Barton

He often quotes Spanish football rags when giving HIS so called expert knowledge and opinion.<laugh>

all it is is he was initially active on twitter and got an in with rafa as friendly journo.. from that he got his sky work and he's made a career out of it pretending to be the font of all knowledge when in fact all it is is recycling stuff seen elsewhere plus being an open door for certain clubs to pass their desired lines on.

The spanish see him as a useful conduit to sew discord in england.
