Funnily enough in watching HP now. They've shown all the films on itv over last few weeks (seen them all couple times)

He can play anywhere across the front as an attacking midfielder. Something in the absence of Lallana and Coutinho that we desperately need

Look you are right but if we get one injury or we even look on Saturday when firmino is pushed wide and we see we have zero coverage for injury, form or suspension.
I totally agree the spine of the team is weak though.

Not really. Salah, Firm, Sturridge, Origi, Solanke, Mane.
Got enough of them, it's CMs we need.
He could play as the 3rd cm alongside say Can and Wijnaldum. Same as we did with Lallana and we would have with Coutinho. We have zero creativity in our team, someone like Draxler is desperately needed
Did you see sturridge play and Firmino out there.
You really only have 2 wingers in mane and salah. Firmino is, has and always will be pony out there as he's not strong or quick enough.
Sturridge is totally past it, hasn't got the legs anymore and is just waiting to go onto the scrap heap.
Origi should never be seen on the wing and solanke has looked good as a CF, i doubt he'd have the experience or the class on the wing.
In short you need draxler as cover for the wing position and arguably you could chuck mane into the creative role in the middle if you want to play all 3 (or one of them up top)

Slightly harsh on firmino, but only slightly. The lad in space can go good things and when deeper plays better.. but yeah he's got no pace.

Its not even cover. If you assume mane will play then theres no reason draxler could not push salah out if salah continues to miss chances.
It is a very unbalanced front line. Add ings and lfc imo have ings, sturridge firmino, origi and Solanke all for ONE position. Then mane and salah only for two positions.
Thus players who imo are cms who want to be really deep like lallana and coutinho will have to play wing abdvimo are just filling in not excelling.
So....yeah... I just don't feel our squad is right at all.. just all over the place.
Totally. We should never turn down the chance to get Draxler at that price. Bobby is pants on the wing - he just has no positional discipline. I remember the 2nd leg against Soton in the LC. He just left TAA on his own to be doubled up against by Soton's crafty left flank.

Lb: hmmm... yeah.. palace were awful Robertson needs a test better than that. Moreno is pants and Milner is not an lb.
Cb: Matip is half decent, the others are ****e. Gomez needs games and experience. This will bite us badly.
Cm No 6. We don't have one imo. Henderson has been pants this year
