Not really into the big club small club thing but you saints fans think we're just getting to know the feeling. Fact is it's happened to our club several times, we've been there done that before, Coutinho is just the latest. Popping up every couple of days with comments on VVD has no effect whatsoever. <ok>

People get passionate . Slightly different for me , as I almost out of interest with PL football , it's just a disgusting cash cow . Please don't try and wind me up about F1 though .

He's said it's up to the owners which is a face saver for himself.. If he comes out and continues the not for sale at any price stance and a ridiculous amount is offered that FSG can't resist, sale goes through, it will look like they overruled him.

Yup...said that earlier...looked back at my drunk ramblings last night and you know what I'm not far off.

Sell the little **** cash only. Then go back to our two targets and just throw obscene money at them. If they are the no 1 targets then let Klopp get them. Price irrelevant compared to going and buying **** he didn't want in an overpriced market anyway.

As I said several times over the period or 2 weeks.

Imo cash only is where it is at. It's now up to Barca. I fancy they will try very very hard to screw us now as we look weak imo.

The sticking point still applies with van Dijk.
And of course he's as big a **** as Phil is turning out to be. <laugh>

I accepted we were in for a poor window when we signed Robertson tbh. Wasn't overly impressed with us signing Salah but at least he gave us options. Robertson is a nothing signing imo, no improvement on Milner who isn't even a left back!

There still seems to be a fear that we are running the risk of them running to their mum if we make an offer without invitation though?
Having watched that display today, I'm not sure he'd be able to turn it round. I think it's still "we'll just try and score more than you rather than defend" again this season.

If our CEO rings their CEO and makes the offer with the condition it won't be leaked on our end...he can say no....but offering that kind of cash? Silly money? I think he'll say yes.
