The fact is we've rejected a 90m bid without a seconds thought... That's only going to lead to two things:
1) they **** off, he stays and you boil a bit inside
2) they just keep upping that bid and you boil a bit more inside
At what point are we supposed to be arsed about Barcelona's plight.
Just like Southampton and RB don't give a **** about us trying to improve our squad to push for title (quite rightly)

Either pony up 220m or shut the **** up
And every time you talk to us the price goes up another 20m
Of course everybody have been overpaying. Walker for 54m, Lukaku for £90m Matic for £40m and it goes on. I can't see why Barcelona shouldn't pay (the Donga ransom of) £135m.
Thank goodness FSG recognised like everyone else Barcelona 's desperation. The Spanish are recognising that fact faced by many clubs: it s quite difficult to get the player you want at a reasonable price after you lose a player you didn't want to leave. Also Barca are realising that LFC is no longer one of those Spanish sides they could raid at will.
I fear they will come back with an offer of around £110m which FSG will accept (after Coutinho says that he will like to play for Barca). LFC has said the matter is now closed. Will Barcelona give up?

At this time amid all the transfer madness Couthinho is worth whatever Barca are prepared to pay for him and whatever FSG are prepared to take for him.
A few posts ago he was worth 135m and if you go back far enough through this pitiful transfer window thread 150m has been mentioned lol
We've walked away from VVD - Barca are perfectly at liberty to do the same over Ford. And it's not moaning, as in whimpering to the authorities about being tapped up (which Ford has been - as has Siggy), it's screwing them because we can. No self-pity here - revenge is dish best served cold. Or hot too, to be honest.
