BT Sports is rubbish. Lamps is an okay commentator, gerrard i never warmed to (and thats not just because i hate him as a player). Not sure what their "bants" is going to be like but presumably its going to be a really poor version of Nev and Carragher who i actually enjoy watching and tune into the pre/post match debate sometimes (henrys not bad with them too)
I agree. I can't see Lampard getting too excited when commenting much like Owen - no charisma.
Ah, my bad, when i meant commentary i meant post match discussion. He's been alright on that. Can imagine his commentary is dull though.

Since most of the games I'm watching on my phone (because don't want to give PC a virus), it's helpful to hear who gets the ball because it's not always possible to tell when the people are 1cm tall.

Amen to that. I watched the game last night, first one I've watched in months and I had to put the sound on because I didn't know a lot of the players by sight only and unable to read shirt names
May seem mad but once you've seen them play you get to know their individual walking / running stances and can happily view with no sound. I find all of our players have a distinctive style once you've seen them play [identifying hairstyles etc. aside]. Carragher's characteristic hop comes to mind.
I told Bobby this earlier but he's refusing to acknowledge there's any change in the VVD situation from a month ago

Don't think it matters if he's refusing to play because he wants to move. Clear sign he wants to leave anyway so Saints won't have to pay the "loyalty" bonus
If he doesn't trust Southampton any more (after he's spent months telling them he wants to leave) then handing in a transfer request doesn't get him a transfer it just lets them pay him less

like i know in theory this greatly beenfits us but i just find that attitude really wrong.
Frnakly the lad was badly advised at the start but its moved way past this now. IMO southampton have also painted themselves into a corner.
