Lets put it this way... a reasonably reliable itk down saints way said he was not with squad like the plan was and then we get this sky sources crap about him telling thrm to stuff it. Btw we are just laughing at rawk here so theres no point using that bunch as a reason for anything. Funny how the "news on coutinho" to you is more real than vvd. My sauce as i said yesterday told me lfc dont have time to replace anyway so unless he goes on strike like vvd we are saying hes not for sale no matter what. The lad i saw posting on vvd has a decent track record of being right so if he is right that vvd is still not with squad than these stories of meetings and the reiteration of desire to go might be reasonable.
I said since you guys were reported and he thew a hissy fit (make of that what you will), but evidently that means he's not been training which has been long in the pipeline. Him refusing to play (which is conjecture anyway) is natural if he isn't training. That is nothing new.
I didn't say the news on coutinho was more real. I just said more recent. I don't think coutinho will be moving as i don't think he will go on strike and i don't think Barca will pony up a £100m+ bid. I know you've said he's not for sale, but if Barca offer messi, or suarez and/or £189m he'd been gone in a flash (obviously i've made all that up). Realistically though if Barca even offer £125 i reckon FSG would sell him off
Am I defending it? I'm stating facts Stories like this - ''Virgil van Dijk has not handed in a transfer request, reports the Daily Echo, countering claims in some nationals over the past few days.'' - indicate there's still a lot to talk about VVD. Coutinho - what is there to say. rawk have an 18 page thread on it closed at midnight but to be reopened if there is any actual news - what's to complain about that? As saint said earlier all the speculation is just tedious - unlike VVD there's no quotes from clubs or the player or anything else. I'd say 18 pages worth was a pretty good amount of discussion so far, wouldn't you?
Nicely avoided there astroMITO . As for they are used to it, i would say seeing there players unsettled every season is something the existing players get used to unlike when Liverpool (or not barca) going into meltdown when it happens to them.
You said he DID put in a tranfer request. That article says he HASN'T. Anyway that article is from the 18th of July so 3 weeks old. As for news on VVD and Coutinho, they are about as reliable as each other. Bullshit websites are still coming out with bullshit news for both. Here are some from coutinhos which i googled in 1 minute http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...verpool-replacements-Barcelona-sportgalleries http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...verpool-Barcelona-Monday-transfer-news-gossip The point is, 1 thread has been blocked off (not that it bothers me i don't use RAWK surprisingly) and 1 hasn't and we know the reasons why (one is anti liverpool and one isn't). I'm not complaining but i've likened it to a dictatorship, something you don't like it because i'm just having a pop at how 1984 like RAWK is, which most agree.
The article also says the nationals reported he put in a TR which was were I read it. The local paper have come out and countered it. Can't you see the fact we are debating it here makes it more relevant than Coutinho. I have nothing to say on Coutinho other than I hope he stays and that's as far as it goes.
rawk may be a dictatorship - I have no idea The times I've had a look on there I've never seen anything which would make me think it's anything other than just another fan forum. An example - I was looking on there a while ago on an Everton thread - usual banter, EFC fans on there taking part as well - when someone posted about Lennon, all banter stopped and everyone to a man [and woman] posted deepest sympathy for his situation, how it shouldn't be stigmatised etc, etc, just really decent, heartfelt messages.
This neymar stuff is hilarious. Why the hell are la liga so involved? They worried that psg might start buying best players from their 2 beat teams
not read that but good on them for the lennon part although you'd have to be a proper dick to laugh about that. I was just going on about the locked thread. Anyway i think we've both made our points and theres no point going round in circles. Haha it's proper good comedy. Can't believe La Liga have got themselves in such a tiff about it
I only joined in the discussion because it was claimed rawk wouldn't allow any Coutinho transfer talk which was blatently untrue. , Having had a better look on there they seem to have a policy in transfer threads of no 'speculation only' stories - wouldn't work on here . So until there's a credible source to a likely, or even unlikely transfer, then they've locked the thread. I really can't see why you or any of the others who've expressed an opinion on it, have a problem with that. Personally, I couldn't care less how they run their site.
Rawk is just like any 'militant' forum that most clubs have, plenty of ****e posted on(for example)certain Chelsea forums...
Tobes - sorry mate I forgot to address your earlier point. I read an article that began thus - ''Liverpool will only move back in for Virgil van Dijk this summer if Southampton make it clear they are willing to consider offers for the centre-back.'' - before it disappeared and wouldn't re-load
I wouldn't take anything RAWK say, or do, too seriously. No forum, for any team, that doesn't allow multiple viewpoints , is worth worrying about.
I know it's going to look like I'm defending them and I'm really not, I'm just putting my experience forward. I think rawk has passed into urban legend status. Whenever I've looked on there there's loads of in-fighting, every possible take on an incident that is possible to take and several utd and Everton fans giving as good as they get. There's the obvious no links allowed to certain rags and websites but this 'no other opinion allowed except our official one' comment that gets thrown around is very well hidden if that really is the case. Again I'm really not defending the site, I couldn't care less what they do on there but imo people have an opinion on it based on what others have said about it rather than going and seeing for themselves.
I haven't visited RAWK in maybe 7 years to be honest. That's a long time online. They may not be as bad as I remember. I've never really spent much time there either.
