Anyway this whole situation is apparently not about the money or value, its that Soton don't want to lose their best player but he doesn't want to play for them.
My point was that as noble as the Soton manager is trying to be, can he afford to have a player in his team that doesn't put his full effort in. And can the owners of Soton have one of their biggest earners sat on the bench or rotting in the reserves.
