They could be travelling to London to speak with his agent or they could be talking ****e.

I don't think they'll entertain selling him, unless the player spits his dummy out and does a VvD.

Had Barca slapped £80m+ on the table at that point like? van Dijk kept his powder dry for about 2 months after you tapped him up btw.

If he doesn't chuck his teddy out in the next week or 2, then that'll be that imo. If I was having money on it I reckon he'll stay for this season at least.

Yeah they'd put £72m on the table, which was less offensive as a first bid than £80m was as a second bid

At this rate maybe we'll pay attention to their 9th bid

Oh, and Mascherano too. Barca ****ed us over that one too. And Madrid, to a lesser extent, over Alonso.

There is no suggestion that Couts is considering anything along those lines, (unlike Keita and VvD, who are clearly restless)

Anyway, I thought many on here see Couts as 'inconsistent' <whistle>
