So, because there best friends Coutinho's future is in the hands of Moreno because if he leaves then Coutinho wouldn't have his best mate anymore?

The independent are usually a decent newspaper but **** me.

It also means that Cout would have to move to the same club or one nearby to where Moreno goes. If Moreno goes to Italy then Cout going to Barca isn't exactly going to be any different to him being in Liverpool. Still be a diff country lol

Some clubs have totally lost track of value. When Walker is valued at £54m then absolutely anything can happen. £195m for Neymar seems like fair value. while £72m for Coutinho seems like a pittance.

At £100m-£110m, which is a very high price for Cout, I still think we shouldn't sell. If our whole system depends on him, then who are we to get to replace him? Will we like in the past over bid by £20m-30m to get the players we are interested in? When clubs know you've got money to burn they overinflate their prices, why shouldn't they?

yup. everton were very smart buying like mad (even if they bought junk according to astro) then selling lucky. if they'd sold lucky first the prices for pickford and keane would have been min +10mil

Really? Pickford and Keane were already £10m overpriced, prob because of English factor, but every man and his dog knew they'd have money to spend from Lukaku leaving as he said he was leaving about 2 months ago.

Which is all bullsh!t, as Coutinho is best mates and boyhood friends with Neymar, which is another reason Barcelona would be attractive to him. However if he buggers off to PSG, then that scuppers that a bit too

Whilst the article is pure fishing the ideal is probably not as far off the mark as you think.

I wouldn't say anything as simple as, Moreno goes so couts will up sticks and go

However the changing dynamic of his life may make him stop and think. Back in Brazil with all his friends everything is peachy. Then one ups and leaves so he might think.

It could happen with anything tbf but I don't think it is total bs.

I actually think we will sell for around £80m tbh
